Free Admission at Texas State Historic Sites for Those Who Served

As a thank you to those who have served in the Armed Forces, the Texas Historical Commission is waiving admission fees at our state historic sites today in honor of Veterans Day.

Veterans also receive discounted admission all year, and active-duty service members are always admitted free. We are proud to welcome members of the military to the sites that protect Texas history.

Please note: The San Jacinto Museum is closed on Tuesdays and will instead offer free admission to veterans on Wednesday, November 12, to celebrate Veterans Day.
