Hurst 101 Citizens Academy

The Hurst 101 Citizens Academy is a fun and enlightening opportunity for Hurst residents and business owners to become more engaged and active members of the community. Through our dynamic program, participants learn about city departments, the budget process, emergency services, and other city operations and government processes. The class meets on Thursday evenings beginning in January throughout the spring with presentations from various city staff members, tours of facilities, and one-on-one interaction with city council members.
