John McCain Construction Project

Work is scheduled to begin improving the safety of the bridge and roadway located on John McCain west of the roundabout at Westcoat. The $540,000 grant funded construction project is slated to begin January 5 and take nearly three months to complete. During construction, bridge closure will require a traffic detour via Charlottesville Avenue and Monticello Parkway. This detour is for local traffic only. Motorists seeking a cut-through to Davis Boulevard are directed to use McDonwell School Road as a detour route.
