Colleyville will host the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive next month, giving community members an opportunity to support local police and fire first responders through blood donations.
The event is being held in partnership with Carter BloodCare. Donors can support #TeamPolice or #TeamFire, with each donation counting toward the friendly competition between the departments. Participants will also receive a free T-shirt.
Both blood-drive dates will take place at the Colleyville Justice Center, 5201 Riverwalk Drive, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The first opportunity is Monday, October 5. A second blood drive is scheduled for Friday, October 9.
Those who want to donate can register for either the police or fire schedule for their preferred date. The registration options are listed as Police Schedule and Fire Schedule for both October 5 and October 9.
The Battle of the Badges Blood Drive offers residents two opportunities to help support the community’s first responders while contributing to the local blood supply.
