Construction is set to begin at North Park as Southlake enters the final phase of its athletic field turf conversion project. The park will remain accessible during work, with temporary changes expected.

Construction will soon begin at North Park as the City of Southlake moves into the final phase of its athletic field turf conversion project.

The work will include artificial turf for the athletic fields, 152 parking spaces, drainage improvements, fencing improvements and ADA upgrades. The project is part of Southlake’s continued investment in athletic field improvements.

Construction is expected to continue through winter 2027. North Park will remain accessible while the work is underway, but visitors should expect temporary changes as the project progresses.

Some portions of the walking path may be affected during construction. Residents and visitors using the park should be prepared for changing conditions around the work areas.

The improvements are intended to advance the ongoing conversion of North Park’s athletic fields and add related parking, drainage, fencing and accessibility upgrades.
