Watering restrictions are in effect across Saginaw, with assigned days for residential and non-residential properties. Watering is prohibited from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with limited exceptions.

Watering restrictions are in effect in Saginaw, with residents and property owners asked to follow a weekly schedule and avoid watering during the hottest part of the day.

No watering is allowed on Mondays. Non-residential properties, including apartments, businesses, parks and common areas, may water on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Residential properties with even-numbered addresses ending in 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 may water on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Residential properties with odd-numbered addresses ending in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 may water on Thursdays and Sundays.

Watering is not permitted between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Drip irrigation, soaker hoses and handheld hoses are exceptions and may be used at any time.

The City of Saginaw is encouraging the community to conserve water and follow the schedule. “Every drop counts,” the city said, thanking residents and property owners for helping support water conservation and the community.
