North Richland Hills has been named one of the Most Livable Small Cities in America for 2025, ranking #48 out of 279 small cities evaluated by SmartAsset! This comes just weeks after being ranked #64 on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Places to Live.
SmartAsset ranked cities with population sizes between 65,000 and 100,000 across seven metrics reflecting to what degree each city has a well-rounded spread of factors making it ‘livable’ for many. This included housing affordability, poverty and unemployment rates, health insurance coverage, access to healthcare and entertainment facilities, and commute times. Only one other Texas city – Flower Mound – was among the top 50.
These accolades reflect North Richland Hills’ exceptional public services and amenities, thriving businesses, and the great people who make this city home. We’re proud to see NRH getting the recognition it deserves!
