Old Town Keller has welcomed a new business with the opening of CocoDays Bazaar Of Fierce Finds, owned by husband-and-wife team Cody and Dayla Phillips. Located at 138 Olive Street in a building that dates back to 1920, CocoDays offers a wide variety of funky fashion and quirky items, all curated with care.

“CocoDays was started from a dream of my wife Dayla and me,” Cody said. “My name is Cody, and hers is Dayla — hence the name CocoDays. Our friends would see us together and say, ‘Oh, there’s Cocodays,’ like we had a Brangelina name.”

The Phillipses, Keller residents for nine years and parents to a family of seven, share a passion for the hunt.

“We’ve always loved looking at boutiques and resale, stuff like that,” Cody said. Dayla adds, “It’s a resale store, not a thrift store, because we buy all of our stuff — it’s not donation.”

Their vision for CocoDays extends beyond the typical thrift shop experience.

“We didn’t want it to be a place with just junk or random thrifty stuff,” Cody said. “Everything is very curated and organized. Dayla made this really beautiful, colorful space, and we did it in cool categories.”

The store offers a range of styles, organized into sections like “Teenage Dirtbag” for teen fashion, “Uptown Funk” for sparkly going-out outfits, “Y’allternative” for western-inspired looks, a men’s section, and a boho section featuring flowy dresses.

“It’s similar to something you’d see in Bishop Arts or Austin, but we’re bringing it to the suburbs,” Dayla said.

CocoDays offers a constantly rotating selection of items, with new finds arriving daily, promising that no visit is ever the same. The store even occasionally carries high-end brands like Coach, Louis Vuitton, Prada and Christian Dior, all priced well below platforms like Poshmark and eBay.

“We make sure to look up what an item is selling online for, and then we price it under that,” Cody explained. Dayla adds, “People are getting a really good deal with us.”

As champions for sustainability, the owners also emphasize the environmental benefits of shopping resale.

“By buying resale, you’re saving the environment, helping stuff reprocess and find a good home,” Cody said. “Dayla says there’s a treasure for everyone.”

With its ever-changing inventory and wide-ranging style offerings, CocoDays is bringing a fresh and vibrant shopping experience to Old Town Keller.
