NRH Senior Center Announces May Events for Community Wellness and Engagement

The NRH Senior Center has announced a full calendar of events for May 2025, focused on promoting health, education, and community connection for local seniors.

One of the key highlights is the NRH Senior Center Health Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, May 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Grand Hall, 6000 Hawk Avenue. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with a variety of service providers offering resources and screenings related to physical, mental, and financial wellness. Organizers emphasize the fair as a valuable way to gain access to essential tools and knowledge, with door prize drawings happening throughout the event.

Earlier in the month, the community is invited to a May Luncheon on Wednesday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m., hosted in partnership with Encompass Health. The luncheon will offer a chance to gather with friends and neighbors over a shared meal and seasonal celebration.

In addition, the NRH Senior Center is planning an Education Session in collaboration with Suvida Healthcare. While the date is yet to be announced, the session promises to provide valuable health education in a relaxed, informative setting.
