PROPOSED Spring 2025 Service Change
To meet the needs of our customers, CapMetro is proposing the introduction of two new CapMetro Rapid lines, a new Pickup zone in Decker and minor schedule adjustments. If approved, the minor schedule adjustments would start on Sunday January 12, the Pickup Decker zone would begin on Monday January 13 and the two Rapid lines would launch later in Spring 2025 after essential infrastructure and testing are completed.
CapMetro is engaging with the community on these changes through public meetings, comments and a public hearing. We want your voice heard, share your feedback.
Introduce Service for Two CapMetro Rapid Lines
CapMetro Rapid 800 Pleasant Valley and 837 Expo Center are proposed to start service in Spring 2025 to provide important transit connections to areas east of I-35 with buses arriving every 20-to-30-minutes. Service would begin after the essential infrastructure and testing are complete.
New Pickup Decker Zone
CapMetro proposes a new zone, Pickup Decker, to provide a flexible service in the Northeast Austin area and connectivity to the proposed Rapid 837 Expo Center.
Minor Adjustments
To improve on-time performance and reliability, select Bus and Rail routes may receive minor schedule adjustments.
