The Colleyville is inviting residents to mark their calendars for the return of Clean Sweep, the City’s annual community clean-up event, happening Saturday, March 7.

Hosted in partnership with Community Waste Disposal (CWD), Clean Sweep provides Colleyville residents with a convenient, one-stop opportunity to safely dispose of a wide range of items that are not typically collected through regular trash service.

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the south parking lot at Colleyville City Hall. Residents will be able to drop off household hazardous waste, bulk trash, electronics, automotive tires, and documents for secure shredding through five designated stations.

To ensure smooth traffic flow and efficient service, participants are encouraged to pre-sort items before arriving. City staff and volunteers will be on-site to assist and help keep lines moving.

Clean Sweep is free for Colleyville residents and is intended for residential use only. Business waste will not be accepted. Proof of residency is required and can be shown by presenting a City of Colleyville water bill or a current driver’s license.

City officials encourage residents to take advantage of this annual event as a safe and environmentally responsible way to declutter homes while helping keep the community clean.
