The City of North Richland Hills has earned two Transparency Stars from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts for excellence in sharing clear, accessible information about our finances and debt obligations. This recognition means residents can easily see how their local tax dollars are collected, spent, and planned through access to budgets, audits, and financial reports on our website. Acting Comptroller Kelly Hancock presented the awards at last night’s City Council Meeting.

Mayor Jack McCarty thanked city staff and the City Council for their commitment to transparency and shared that more stars are on the way! A total of six stars can be earned through the Comptroller’s Transparency Stars Program and NRH is just getting started.
