Two Numbers.One Remarkable CTE Department!

Get this…two years ago, the Buinger CTE Academy, along with the outstanding CTE educators across the district, assisted HEB ISD students in earning 8,871 industry-based certifications. This past year, our HEB ISD CTE programs surpassed that achievement, securing an impressive 10,630 certifications for the 2023-24 academic year!

Now, let’s look at the second number shown in the above graphic. Last year, the Buinger reported that 7,262 students enrolled in at least one CTE class. Think about that for a moment. This accounts for nearly one-third of HEB ISD’s entire student body.
