The City of Hurst will offer residents a 2027 ambulance subscription service designed to help offset costs associated with emergency ambulance transportation.
The subscription costs $75 per household and is intended to cover amounts not paid by an insurance provider or Medicare. For residents without health care insurance, the program covers emergency medical services delivered before arrival at a hospital.
New customer enrollment opens Nov. 2, 2026, and continues through Dec. 31, 2026. Medicaid recipients are not eligible for the program.
The city said the subscription is intended to provide an affordable option for residents while supporting continued excellence in patient care.
