Technology Learning Opportunities for SNAP Members
ATTENTION PARENTS!
NEW PROGRAM – With the generous funding received through the Giving Machine event, NTX SNAP is fine tuning ways to bring technology learning opportunities to our members.
We are planning a class on computer basics to be held at TCC NE Campus. TCC currently offers Computer Basics through Lifestyle & Community Learning Courses. The curriculum is designed to improve quality of life (e.g., stay connected to family & friends, perform daily tasks such as ordering online groceries, make arrangements to visit a doctor, etc.) Since the class is for NTX SNAP only, the curriculum can be enhanced to better meet the needs of our members. Please think about the technology needs of your member. For example, we possibly could include phone usage topics (e.g., integrating calendar, setting reminders, etc.) during this class or through a separate offering.
WE NEED & VALUE YOUR INPUT. Please complete the short survey linked below to let us know if your member has an interest in this class along with any potential topics to include in the curriculum. The class will begin in late August or September. It can be scheduled during the day or as an evening class. SNAP member input is welcomed and appreciated as well!
